Privacy policy

Stay Cost Brain shows what the tourist tax adds to the price of a stay, and gives a calculator that works it out for your dates. This policy says what we collect (almost nothing) and why.
There are no accounts, no forms and no passwords. You can use everything here without telling us who you are.
What we collect
- Nothing you type into the calculator. The calculator runs entirely in your browser: the place, dates, number of guests, children's ages and room price you enter are never sent to us.
- No cookies and no tracking. We set no cookies, use no advertising or analytics trackers, and do not build a profile of you.
- Ordinary server logs. Like any website, the hosting service (Cloudflare) handles each request for a page and may keep short-lived technical logs (for example to stop abuse). We do not store IP addresses ourselves.
- Aggregate visit counts. If we add privacy-friendly, cookie-free analytics (such as Cloudflare Web Analytics), it counts page views in aggregate and identifies no one. This page will say so when it is switched on.
AI assistants
Our llms.txt and llms-full.txt files are public summaries of the tax tables for AI assistants. Reading them sends
us nothing about you.
Links to other sites
Our pages link to the official sources of every figure (city councils, tax authorities, official gazettes) and to our sister site, Car Rental Brain. Those sites have their own privacy policies. We do not currently carry booking links; if we add them, this page and a disclosure will say so first.
Your rights
Because we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing for us to show, correct or delete. If you think we hold something, write to us and we will check and answer.
